FMGE – Foreign Medical Graduates Examination is being conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) twice a year (June and December). It is a mandatory screening test for all Indian students and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), who hold Foreign medical qualifications, to obtain registration with Medical Council of India(MCI) and practice in India.
The council has announced the official date for FMGE 2019 to be held on 28th June 2019. All Indian Nationals holding foreign degrees will be able to practice in India, upon clearing this test to be held in June 2019.
Candidates fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility criteria will be able to apply online for FMGE 2019, June session. The application form will be available in the second week of May. Here is the application procedure.

Once done, an email will be sent to the registered email ID, which the candidates will have to acknowledge and send relevant eligibility documents to the NBE before the specified date.
The application fee for FMGE 2019(POST GRADUATE SCREENING TEST) is 5500 INR.
NOTE : The dates mentioned below are tentative and subject to change as per further information by the Council.
All eligible candidates will be able to download the FMGE admit card online by logging in with their respective USER ID and Password. NBE will send out SMS notifications to the candidates, upon the availability of admit cards. It will be mandatory for all candidates to carry their admit card to the allotted examination center along with any of the following documents:
The admit card will include the name of candidates, date and time of the exam, address of allotted exam center and other details.
In order to obtain the provisional or permanent registration from Medical Council of India and State Medical Council, candidates must score at least 150 out of 300 in FMGE 2019.
The result of FMGE 2019 will be released in PDF format mentioning the roll number of aspirants, marks obtained out of 300 and qualifying status. It will be mandatory to produce the scorecard to obtain pass certificate from the concerned authorities. The result is scheduled to be rolled out in the third week of July, and the download link will be provided in due course of time.
