Everything you need to know- NEET 2020
NEET 2020 will conduct on 3rd May, 2020.
Exam timing: 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM
Duration of Examination: 180 minutes (03 hours)
It is going to be offline paper and pen based exam.
This exam is going to be conducted in 155 cities and in 2546 exam centre.
The exam form is available by NTA for NEET 2020 since 2nd December, 2019.
NEET 2020 prospectus has been released in 11 different languages so that every student familiar with their mother tongue can go through the prospectus without any difficulty.
The admit card will be available of NEET 2020 on 27th March, 2020.
The result will be declared on June 4th, 2020.

Forms are out and now the applicants can apply for the form and pay the fee of the form which is 1500/- for general category, 1400/- for General EWS/OBC category and 800/- for SC/ST/PwD and transgender category from 2nd of December 2019 to 1st January 2020. 1st January is the last date for the successful transaction of the fee through any online mode of payment. For the correction of particulars of application form is from 15th January to 30th January 2020.
Applicants can download the Admit card from the NTA website from 27th march, 2020 and the date of the examination is 3rd May, 2020. the duration of the examination will be of 180 minutes which is approximately 3 hours and the timings will be 2pm to 5pm. The result will be declared on 4th June, 2020.

The pattern of the NEET- 2020 examination will be objective. There will be multiple choice questions given in the exam from the three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Total questions will be 180 in which physics and chemistry will have 45-45 questions and Biology will have 90 questions. Each question will have 4 marks. Total marks will be 720. negative marking will also be done and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Unanswered questions will have no marks.
Mode of Examination
Applicants are required to use Pen and paper to give the test. This exam will be pen and paper based one and by using the ballpoint pen, answers should be ticked on the specially designed machine gradable sheet.
Medium of question paper
Candidates can give the test in any of the 11 languages which include English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati and Urdu. For choosing the preferred language, applicants must choose the desired language in the application form and it can not be changed once done. For those who have chosen English as a medium of language, test booklets in English will be given. For those who have chosen Hindi, Bilingual test booklet will be given in Hindi and English. And for the rest of the regional languages, Bilingual test booklet will be provided in both their regional languages and in English.
Eligibility to appear in NEET 2020
The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete it before 31st December of the year. Also, the upper age limit is 25 years with the relaxation of 5 years for the candidates who belongs to SC/ST/OBC-NCL.
Photos to upload while submitting the form
Candidates must carry one postcard size photograph at the time of examination. One passport size photo is required with white background on the form. Also, the photo to bring at the time of examination should be same as the one submitted in the form. Also, one post card size photo (4*6) should also be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the admit card.
These following items shouldn’t be taken inside the examination hall as it is not allowed-
Any food packet or water bottle.
Any stationery item like Pencil box, compass, pen, scale, writing pad, eraser, Calculator and pen drives are not allowed.
Any ornament isn’t allowed.
Any tech gadget or watch isn’t allowed.
If any such item is found with the candidate, strict actions can be taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provision.
NEET 2020- Important details
It may look very basic, but it is very essential to remember and do these things. These are the steps that you must follow before applying for NEET 2020.
Registration- In order to register for NEET 2020, candidates must fill all the details such as their name, gender, age, email address, mobile number and etc carefully. Once it is done. The provisional application number and the login credentials will be generated.
Fill NEET 2020 application form- Every student will be given the NEET 2020 login ID and password which should be used to fill the academic, personal and communication details.
Uploading documents- All the documents such as photographs of the candidate, signature and other essential documents should be uploaded.
Pay the fee for NEET 2020- The fee will be mentioned in the form according to their category and other important details. Candidates must pay the fee through either online mode such as, debit card payments, net banking or via cash deposit at State Bank of India branches.
Print it out- Once you make the payment, download the confirmation page and get a print out of the same.
NEET 2020 Admit Card
Admit card will be released by NTA for NEET 2020 on 27th March, 2020. interested candidates can download the NEET admit card by giving their DOB and application number. Along with the admit card, photo ID proof is also essential to carry.
NOTE- You must keep the admit card with you till your admission process. It is prudent to keep it safe as you will require it at the time of counselling.
How to download NEET 2020 Admit Card?
In order to download NEET 2020 admit card, follow the given steps-
Go to the official website- www.ntaneet.nic.in
Candidates have to click on the link for the admit card and then login by using the date of birth and application number.
Once the details are filled and verified, download and save the admit card.
How to prepare for NEET 2020?
Cover whole syllabus- Okay, so you must be thinking that it is a waste of advice because it is what you generally supposed to do, isn’t it? But by this, we mean that make sure that you are not unaware of any specific topic. You must know what all will be covered and for this, you can go through chapter to chapter or maybe topic to topic. 1- What will be the mode of NEET examination?
NEET 2020 will be a pen and paper based examination.
